The Golden Heart is the second book in The Elements Series.

It's about Kat, an Australian teenager, lost in Namneania. She meets Brice, a Stag trying to get home before war is declared between his nation and the Lions. Kat decides to join him in the hope she might also find a way home. Together they travel through the invasion of the Talana and find themselves the 'guests' of the mystic Desouzers; who not only predicted about Kat's arrival but also what she must do before she can return home.
